Baicheng, Jilin Province – immediately at the outset of China’s wind power industry, the city is one of China’s wind power bases with plans for over 10 GW of installed wind power capacity.
The 50 MW Baicheng Wind Farm is located in Jilin Province in the central part of northeast China. NBT owns a 33% share of the project, whilst the majority owner is GanttCo China Power Limited.
The wind farm was commissioned in early 2011 and was the first wind power project in China that secured non-recourse project finance.
